Eligibility

The Wyakin Warrior program is available to severely wounded or injured veterans who were hurt on or after September 11, 2001.  We do not base eligibility on academic standing or background.  Instead, selections are based on character and motivation.

Examples of injuries include:

Blindness/Loss of Vision

Deafness/Hearing Loss

Loss of Limb

Permanent Disfigurement

Severe Burns

Spinal Cord Injury/Paralysis

Traumatic Brain Injury

Any other injury requiring extensive hospitalization or multiple surgeries.

How To Help

We could use your help, either financially or as a volunteer. Under the "How to Help" tab at the top of the page, you can let us know how you would like to get involved. And if know of veterans or active duty military personnel who might benefit from our program, you can let us know who they are and we will get in touch with them.
